As a recent Bay Area bride, I've been in your shoes and can relate to all of the hours of planning you are putting into your wedding. I too memorized all the wedding magazines, had all the websites bookmarked and will admit, was a member of a wedding chat board!

I understand the importance of the favors being placed "just so" or why the bridesmaids' dresses are just a shade lighter than their bouquets or that the timing of the first dance be right on cue. These elements standing alone may not be meaningful. But when they come together, their cumulative impact is what transforms great events into memorable ones.
